User Account Control and unidentified program at start up

I recently purchased a new acer computer with Vista Home Premium. When I
first boot up, I

Hi Nvhokie,

SetPoint is the driver software for a Logitech mouse or keyboard. SetPointUpdate is the update utility for this. You have to uninstall "SetPoint" in the Control Panel (Classic View) "Programs and Features" or reinstall the drivers to see if it will clear the message at startup.

Setpointupdate.exe belongs to Logitech, either keyboard or mouse
drivers. Go to the Logitech Control Panel applet and disable automatic
checking for updates. Unless you're having problems, you should leave
your mouse/keyboard drivers alone anyway.
