| Guest | windows defender auto scan I have windows defender set to scan every day at 6am. For the past couple of days defender tells me that I have not had a scan in more than 5 days. Every time I see this message I click "scan now" but I get the message the next time I restart my computer. Any ideas? -- -Symp EL |

Otherwise you will see the message. If you do have the computer running, then has the history for Windows Defender been deleted? Some 3rd party programs will have a option to delete history files for applications. (EX: CCleaner) Shawn |
