Vista - Firewall & Malware Protection keeps turning off in Win Security Ce

I have LiveOnceCare on my computer. I've had it on my computer from day one.
For some time now the firewall and malware protection keeps turning off for
some reason. I go in and turn on firewall, turn on Windows Defender but it
says it doesn't detect an antivirus on my computer. The icon for Windows
LiveOneCare is green. As soon as I turn off my computer and turn it back on
the settings are reset again. I need to look and see if it changes after
being on for a while.
What is going on? I've ran AdAware and LiveOnceCare's antivirus and nothing
come up.
Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
