Avanquest AV (System Suite 6 Pro

I tried to install the program.The AV portion loaded,but was not usable.The
Software firewall would not load. I contacted the vendor and was advised that
the program is NOT supported in Vista Beta 2,But to try the compatability
mode.I have not found that mode in the OS yet, does anyone know if there IS a
compatability mode?

There's a program compatibilty wizard, but I doubt it will help with
something like that. The best thing to do is keep old utility/security type
software off of the beta altogether. Use the built-in security, which is
turned on by default. There's no virus protection though. You can either
just skip it an stay away from dubious downloads and attachments while in
Vista. Or install one of the beta AV progs if you're not comfortable with
that. But I don't think you want to install any old firewalls or anything
like that. They're probably just cause problems because they're not written
for Vista.
