AVG Internet Security 7.5 annoying behaviour

I just installed AVG Internet Security 7.5 and for some strange reason my
built-in speaker (not the ones connected through my sound card) beep
whenever I click on any of the components.
I have my sound options set to quiet (in control panel) and no other program
generates this annoying beep. The beep is the usual error beep.
I have all green status on the components, so it seems to be working, but
beeps when I click it...

Anyone seen this?

Re: AVG Internet Security 7.5 annoying behaviour

email support for AVG- (you get free support with the liscense version or
even the trial version) you can actually do it within the program. Click on
"Information" and you will see a line that says technical support via email.
Click that and follow the instructions.
You should receive an email with 24 hours with how to fix it.
Make sure you give exactly the problem you are having

Re: AVG Internet Security 7.5 annoying behaviour

try this...
go to control panel
double click sound
go to the sounds tab in the window that opens,
under sound scheme choose 'windows default'
apply. ok.

check if the problem continues.
