install for the 7th time. each time is recored in the log as successful and

RE: Vista download

Hi toes,

Just because an update is recorded in the log as being successfully
installed, it doesn't necessarily mean that it has actually installed
correctly. To verify this, download and run the 'Belarc Advisor' (link given
below). On first run, you will need to download the latest update files.
Please note that it is best to run this program with administrative
priviledges. Check the status of KB936181 with this program. If it shows an
error then you will need to reinstall this update. This time, manually run
'Windows Update', but run it with administrative priviledges. Download and
install the update again. Remember to check its status with Belarc. If you
still have problems, then try logging on with an administrative account and
continue from there.

I installed Belarc and in fact the update does not show up as being
installed. I don't have an error message. I downloaded the update again and
tried to install. I got the message that it installed correctly. It in not
in my log 10 times. In about 1 minute is again show that it is ready in
install again. every time that it was downloaded and installed is never
shows up in the Belarc advisor. I guess that I need a little more help

Re: Vista download

also take a look in Programs in Control panel to see if they are in there.
If they are they were installed.
