....and its effectiveness at detecting viruses means nothing if
it falls on its face in the Vista environment.

Testing facilities or good for the former, and opinions may
suffice for the latter.

I also favor Eset's NOD32 A/V. It has been working in perfect harmony with
my Dell Inspiron since I bought it, and Vista seems to easily integrate with
it. I particularly appreciate the large variety of command-line switches for
it's on-demand scanner.

You didn't upset me. As I said, I like Avast too. But you lose all
