| Guest | 2 Vista PCs can't browse each other We had setup 2 Vista PCs and using same ID and password, also under administrators group. Why each computer can't browse other computer, even input ID and password in each prompting. Is it any function need disable or enable to open this feature? Thanks |

| Guest | Re: 2 Vista PCs can't browse each other Have you made sure that both computers are in the same workgroup? Have you enabled Discovery and Sharing on each computer? And set which folders are shared? Is the network set as 'Private'? -- Jane, not plain 64bit enabled ![]() Batteries not included. | Guest | Re: 2 Vista PCs can't browse each other We had the problem of an x86 and an x64 seeing each other because they were simply on seperate subnets. One thing I've learned in my years with setting up networks: Always use static IPs. DHCP is for cyber cafes...lol "Jane C" <jellybean@NOSPAMxjgarage.org> wrote in message news:7B6D6557-3BF6-41E7-896D-A8404DFAA8F4@microsoft.com... > Have you made sure that both computers are in the same workgroup? > Have you enabled Discovery and Sharing on each computer?
