February 2008 patches

I have Vista Home Premium and have it setup to do security updates
automatically. A couple of days ago it rebooted without asking and seemed to
take forever to finish. When it did I had 3 that failed because they were for
Office SP and I have Office 2007. Why did it attempt to install unnecessary
patches? When I go to Windows Update it still wants to install them.

Re: February 2008 patches

did you try to put office xp on this computer before installing office 2007?
or did you have office xp and update it to office 2007?
Some of these files might have remained on your computer and the windows
update is still seeing them and thinks it is still there
