    downloading adobe

How do I "change the write privileges" on a destination file that I am trying
    to download adobe illustrator into?
I keep getting an error message that tells me that I need to change the
write privileges of the destination folder.

You can right click the install file and select "Run As Administrator". That
should allow the program admin priveldges which will allow write privedges.

I cannot do that as a right click only brings a "ding", no other
    options............
    Any other thoughts?
Now, a go to assist download manager is involved and clicking "launch" only
produces another box asking me to run or cancel, and clicking on run produces
    no result at all.
