How do I get bittorent working in Vista firewall??

How do I get it working. I keep getting yellow light in bittorent. I
already set windows firewall to allow bittorent access to internet. But it
is still not working. It worked for Windows XP though.

Try adding ports as exceptions manually. Is it using a UDP port? Consider
cross-posting to alt.internet.p2p for more responses. What Vista version are
you using?

It uses TCP ports. I'm not sure whats the difference between TCP and UDP. I
wanted to add port range but I couldn't in Vista like 10000-60000.

Oh I use Vista Home Premium.

If you are behind a NAT/router you may need to enable port forwarding of the
pertinent ports. Check the website of Bittorrent for configuration advice.
