Recent Locations

Hi, I want to know how to clear the recent locations list that you have when you open the drop down list at the address bar in windows explorer.

Welcome to the Vista x64 Forums

There is a guide I found on the Internet to clear the drop down bar for you. It involves editing the registry, which must be done correctly or you could cause system wide problems.

I think you mean Internet Explorer not Windows Explorer.
Tools>Internet Options>Browsing History.

Ah ok. Thanks for your help. I cleared the addresses. How sneaky, eh?

I probably would have never figured this one out on my own for the life of me. Regedit crossed my mind, but I knew I wouldn't know where to begin to look for the stuff I wanted to delete. Thats why I came here.
