Error Message "Stop 0x0000008E (0xC0000022, 0x77638FC7, 0x96C40D64,
0x00000000"

We installed vista on a computer that we just built, and after about a
minute of running it just displays that error message and quits. Any idea
why, and how to fix it?

That is almost always a hardware issue, usually a driver. Make sure you have
the latest drivers (from the hardware manufacturer) for all of your
hardware. If the problem persists check if a newer BIOS is available.
