| | Access controll on multiple files/folders at once So close to using vista for work but when i tried it, i ran into the 1st problem in less then 10 minutes. Why is there no security tab when right click and go to properties on more then 1 folder at a time. Is there a policy that is doing this? Is there a way around it? Was this done intentionally? Im about o loose my hair and im only 21. Help. |

| | Re: Access controll on multiple files/folders at once Haven't noticed this myself (until I read your post and tried it myself!), but Vista as a client OS this function isn't so interesting as it is on a server. I cannot answer if it was done intentionally, but I do know a way around it, use cmd command icacls (cacls in XP) with icacls you can set folder permission on more then one in the same command.
