Remote Firewall

I am unable to access many of the common websites on the internet. The cause
is apparently from a remote firewall that is not from Windows. Someone in my
family may have downloaded something by accident. Does anyone know how I can
troubleshoot my computer to find this program and remove it? Thanks

Exactly what do you mean by the term "remote firewall"? What makes you
think that that's the cause?

MDefl,

Check the settings on your router/modem firewall. It's possible some
changes were made to it that you are not aware of.
