| | Vista Security center Ever since I installed Vista SP1, security center reports that my antivirus, AVG 7.5.519 is turned off. The antivirus program is fully functional and up to date. I am have to select self monitoring to negate the annoying pop up message. I have uninstalled AVG and reinstalled with no effect. O.S. = Vista home premium 32bit. Does anyone know what the cause is and how to correct it? |

| | Re: Vista Security center Not sure about this. However, I would uninstall/reinstall AVG and see what happens. -- ------------------------------ Donny Broome www.broomeman.com/vista www.broomeman.com/tech "Captainswoosh" <Captainswoosh@xxxxxx> wrote in message news:E5995BCD-DB5A-4F3D-8F6C-DBB0BDD477F7@xxxxxx Quote: > Ever since I installed Vista SP1, security center reports that my > antivirus, > AVG 7.5.519 is turned off. |

Method 1: winmgmt /verifyrepository If WMI repository is reported to be inconcistent, run the following command: winmgmt /salvagerepository Method 2 (forced rebuild): net stop winmgmt /y cd %windir%\system32\wbem\ ren repository repository.old Then restart.
