Hello Amanda,
I hoped you would get an answer to this, because I have a familiar problem.
But I think you won't easally get one because you might give them more
information, what machine are you on, what operating system, when do you meet
your problem. What did you do to solve your problem? How far did you get. You
can find some posts where an answer like this is given and links for further
information.
I hope that your question is discovered soon, permissions is a difficult
issue, quite a challenge for the profs.
