| | saving a specific permission for porting I am involved with a gaming site that was initially created using Real Basic. When running Vista, the locally executed user client code for our lobbys require the UAC to be turned off or a "RegistryAccessErrorException was not handled" error occurs. I have discovered that right clicking our folder in hkey_classes_root and manually setting the "Users..." permission to allow full control will fully resolve this issue. So my question is, how can I save this setting so I might share it with others to allow them to benefit from it without sending them into regedit? An exported key does not seem to hold this setting, and I have found not other way to change this permission. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. NetScorpion |
