Making a files always opne as administrator

I have an app that I transferred from Win XP to Win Vista.
Now the app will only work properly if opened as administrator. Can I make
this file automatically open with "run as administrator" without the
right-click and selecting run as administrator every time? In other words
just by left-clicking.

Many thanks

Right-click the application's shortcut, open Properties > Shortcut tab >
Advanced > check Run as administrator. You will still have to give
administrator confirmation.
