MS Defender error 0x800705b4

Can someone help me solve this MS Defender error please?

0x800705b4 is a time-out issue

IF the definition files can not be downloaded/installed, try to manually
download them from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/security/portal/default.aspx

Look under ' Latest Definition Updates ' on the top right of the page
and select the appropriate defs for the Version of Vista that is installed.
Download and SAVE the defs, do NOT run it.
Once the D/L is complete, close all open browsers and programs
Now install the defs.
