| Internet Explorer Protected Mode - Permission to save in folder de I have Vista Ultimate with SP1, with UAC enabled, and my account is the administrator. I use Ancestry.com for genealogy and when I attempt to save an image of a census page, I get a message saying I don't have permission to save in the folder I've choseen (in my documents), and would I like to save in the pictures folder instead. If I agree to this, I get a similar message saying I don't have permission to save in the pictures folder either. I can work around this by either running IE7 as an administrator or turning off Protected Mode. Neither of these workarounds seems to be the right solution, but I can't work out what I need to do, to give myself permission to save information in my folder. Does anyone know how Microsoft expects me to configure this so I don't have to use a workaround? -- Regards, Colin |

| RE: Internet Explorer Protected Mode - Permission to save in folder de Well, u can logon the other account(administrator) for test, if the other account can save, may be your profile problem; if can't save, may be the folder permission setting problem. U can try it first. Brgds/Brandon Chau "Colinobj" wrote:
