| | Vista SP1 automatically using SHA-1 instead of SHA-512 I want to issue a new self-signed EFS certificate and key, using SHA-512. When Vista creates self-signed certificates, it offers me few options, and the certificate is always signed with SHA-1. My understanding is that Vista SP1 is supposed to allow SHA-512. How can I get Windows to create the certificate using SHA-512? |
