Question regarding Microsoft Sync Center, Internet Explorer and Vi

Hi all - I'm posting this message here in the Vista forum as a starting
point. If anyone thinks that it should be in another, let me know.

I have Vista Home Premium running on a Dell. I also have a Window Mobile
SmartPhone, which I sync up with my desktop. Lately, clicking on various
links will cause a popup that says:

Title: Internet Explorer Security
Body: A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer.

The program name is Microsoft Sync Center - C:\windows\system32\mobsync.exe.

In fact, opening the link to post a new question caused this!

Does anyone have ANY idea as to what's going on? I don't know EXACTLY when
this started - within the last couple of weeks? And I've had my phone
syncing for a couple of months now. Is it possible that a Windows Update has
changed something on me?

I can't find anythign like this via google. It's actually starting to annoy
me.

Thanks,
Phil
