Vista RC1 Adding onto Domaim problem

Hi, I have attempted an upgrade from XP SP2 to RC1 Vista, this worked ok,
except i was not connected to the domain any longer. I could not add it onto
the domain as the error says "Network path does not exist" although it does
resolve the computer account on the domain and also the user name.
I have since reinstalled Vista RC1 fresh build, this also has the same
error, can someone let me know if Server 2003 requires any additional
components to accept connections from Vista
Thanks

RE: Vista RC1 Adding onto Domaim problem

More information :-
I have disabled firewall on server and the Vista client.
Tried adding manually and also the network i configuration tool, same error
I cannot see the Domain controller on the network, although settings say
private network, tried all possible solutions.
I can see the shares on domain controller if use controller name/share name
