| Vista Home edition | help y security centre has been disabled help someone played with my computer and disabled windows security centre and now i dont know how to turn it back on can someone please help urgently??? |

Open the "Run" option and type in "Services.msc" (without the quotes). There you will see an entry for the security center service. If it's not running make sure it's set to automatic and then start it. |
