Vista and HTTPS

Hi all.

When I try to see a https web the windows vista only permit me if it have
the certificate on date, the name is the same that the certificate and the
certificate is of one trust company.

In the last versions of IE (include IE 7 on Windows XP) you can see the page
after accept a warning message but Vista Doesn't shows this message and
reject the web.

Can I modify this, and see the message in Windows Vista?

I need work with this page, although have errors in the certificate.

Thks.

Re: Vista and HTTPS

Hi Ignacio,

Very coincidentally I posted a blog article on that very subject today.
Please check it out at www.mitpro.ca and check out The President's Blog
(direct link below).

Good luck!

Re: Vista and HTTPS

Hi and thanks for the article, It's very interesting.

But mi problem is the same. When I run the IE as administrator the IE don“t
show the alert, (The warning is the name is diferent like the certicate
contains), the certificate was create for me but I installed it in the IE,
now only have the warning about the name if I visit this web in other
browser, but when I try it in Vista and IE the warning doesn't show.

one more thing, if the warning is untrust certificate, either show the
warning.

Provably only need find a check, for activate this warning.

Another idea?

Thks a lot.
