windows update KB954430

I've installed this update several times and the update history shows the
install as successful. Why does windows update continually list KB954430 as
an important update? I assume the install actually failed for some reason.
Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

Re: windows update KB954430

Did you use / are you using IE 8 BETA by any chance? I had this on a tech
machine a little back...

Try removing the update in Add / Remove programs and then manually
installing it -
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

If you can't download / install it manually, remove it and then try a
windows update again.

Hope this helps,

Regards,
Jon
