media constrictor needs to go

windows Vista is not safe for life-threatening medical imaging applications
or good for communication because of the media constrictor. the media
constrictor needs to go. I think it should leave windows 7 too.
specifically, communications gets intentionally downgraded no matter the
hardware, and imaging requires all Vista-certified hardware.

I'm always looking over my shoulder wondering what OS they are using at my
dentists' office. I know, it's not life-threatening.

Draw me an x-ray image, doctor, or I'll have to beat you to death with
my Vista!

....no, a baseball bat is more secure in this application.

???

Are you referring to some sort of media fasttracking interfering with
processes that are life critical?

I'm guessing configuration is a foreign concept to you.
