| Vista Ultimate x32 | Cannot view users in admin group after using a rescue disc Hi All, I used the free ISO distributed of the Trinity Rescue Kit on my home computer, Vista Ultimate x32, as my daughter had been playing on it and had set "user must change password at next login" and "password does not expire". Anyway, after running the recover disk to elevate another user to the admin group to use it to reset this admin account, I can now no longer see any user in the admin group i.e. it is blank!!! You can add users, but as press the "Apply" button they disappear right in front of you. BTW, I forgot to turn system restore back on from a previous virus due to my daughter. Any idea as to how to do a registry restore of the hive keys. Tried to it, but did not really work i.e. the admin group remained blank. This is a tricky one...would appreciate your help. Thank You All |
