| | System File Checker When I try to run sfc.exe from the command prompt it tells me: 'You must be an Administrator running a conlsole session in order to use the sfc utility'. I'm the only person running this computer and the Administrator. So please explain what a console session is? Thanks, James |

Start Orb>Search box>type: cmd When cmd appears in Results above, right-click it and choose "Run as administrator". Supply the administrator password/OK the UAC prompt. I first ran into it trying to run the dump diagnostic tools.
