| | Windows Verion not valid Virus I think I got this weird virus last night. I was browsing the web just fine then, but this morning I tried to start up my laptop and it starts up real sluggish. Takes about a minutes to log me in. After i log it a screen comes up saying my Windows it not valid and gives me 3 options. 1) access my computer with limited access, 2) Enter in an alternative authentication code, or 3) contact dell for support. I tried entering in my original code and that came up with a message saying that was not valid and i tried a PCrestore but that was stopped short too. All virus scans i try boot me back to my log in screen. Has anyone heard of a virus like this? Plz help me i am at my wits end with trying to get rid of this thing. -- Tearlessbody ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Tearlessbody's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/125665.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-security/1232714.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

| | Re: Windows Verion not valid Virus It doesn't sound like a virus to me. Did you contact Dell support? If not, I suggest that you do so.
