| | Login Screen Are we stuck with the new Vista login screen, where you have the last user automatically displayed, or you select to choose another user? This seems very longwinded, and as I work in a school the last user account will simply be locked out after multiple login attempts. We use Xp and don't show the last user login for that very reason. Is there any way to change the login screen (in a domain situation) to be similar to the XP method where you have to specify the user account yourself, rather than clicking a pretty button! |

| | RE: Login Screen Yes, this can be disabled. Here is the path in Group Policy: Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options\Interactive logon: Do not display last user name Hope this helps! -Ben "A Lake" wrote: > Are we stuck with the new Vista login screen, where you have the last user > automatically displayed, or you select to choose another user? > > This seems very longwinded, and as I work in a school the last user account > will simply be locked out after multiple login attempts.
