| | Vista Encryption vs PGP I am now using PGP desktop on XP. I do not encrypt the complete disk, I use the virtual disk option (ie: folder). I do not need or want to encrypt the entire disk. I only want a folder and it's sub-folders encrypted. I also only want to open this folder when I need it, not at every startup. Can Vista encrytion do this ?. Thanks |

| | RE: Vista Encryption vs PGP EFS in Vista (as well as XP) will encrypt folders. Once the encryption is set on the parent folder, any sub-folders or files created in that folder will be automatically encrypted. Thanks.
