    Vista Encryption vs PGP

I am now using PGP desktop on XP. I do not encrypt the complete disk, I use
the virtual disk option (ie: folder).

I do not need or want to encrypt the entire disk. I only want a folder and
it's sub-folders encrypted. I also only want to open this folder when I need
    it, not at every startup.

Can Vista encrytion do this ?.

    Thanks

EFS in Vista (as well as XP) will encrypt folders. Once the encryption is
set on the parent folder, any sub-folders or files created in that folder
    will be automatically encrypted.

    Thanks.
