How does one enable BitLocker with TPM and a PIN?
I just went through the setup and could only do TPM only.

Is it a TPM 1.2 chip? If so, is it turned on in the BIOS?

Hello Matt,
Open an elevated cmd prompt.
make sure you are in \windows\system32 folder ( an elevated cmd prompt
should default to this location)
run cscript.exe manage-bde.wsf -on -?
Or enable via a group policy setting:
gpedit.msc
then go to:
Computer configuration
Administrative Templates
Windows Components
Bitlocker Drive Encryption
control panel Setup:Enable Advanced Startup Options

On this note, does anyone have a list of laptops that have a TPM chip in them. Most laptop makers don't list TPM from what I have seen.

I know the Lenovo X60, T60, and T60p's we have, have them. I have seen people running Bitlocker on HP and Acer and Dell notebooks.....but not sure what models.

Hello,
There are any number of laptops out there that have TPM chips. They need
at least a 1.2 TPM chip. Most of those laptops will need a bios update
however.
Thanks,
