Folder Redirection failing to work.

Hi all,

I'm close to migrating to Windows Vsita but there is a sticking point. The
security to redirect "My Documents" to a Users Network Share seems to be
different.

The User has modify rights, System and Administrators have full control.

What am i missing? This system worked well on XP but on Vista it does not
work and generates a 502 Event ID.


Below is a copy of the event message.

Failed to apply policy and redirect folder "Documents" to "\\Server1\Steven
$".
Redirection options=9211.
The following error occurred: "Can not create folder "\\Server1\Steven$"".
Error details: "Access is denied.

Did you ever get an answer to this? I have a machine I upgraded, and the
folder redirection is still there, but the folder constantly synchronizes
with the server.

it seems to work if i allow my self to have FULL CONTROL of the permissions
for the folder on the network share.

not most ideal as the Domain Aadmin account loses control to certain
folders on the server.
