Vista file security

In tragic old fashion style, I am setting up host file in
system32/drivers/ect for SAP installations on WAN this in Vista test unit
(from ISO download today) was not possible becasue of lock of file (read
only). I have tried to adust premissions but was unable to also there is an
older fix yet for MELL we use where also file in system32 (msxml6.dll) is
renamed that cannot be accomplished. other than that running well and making
best of it till program support picks up. "any help is appreciated" happy
holidays.

Re: Vista file security

Thanks for the info down to 2 components on the install although pulling up
the Admin account did lead to some conflicts on wifi (machine model based i
am sure)
but alas the msxml6.dll fix is not a good option in vista, to resolve the
issue with mell, too many other operations and functions are affected, there
is a fix posted Article ID 917583 - for anyone who many have the same idea in
the future.
