Where the heck is the Local Security Policy?

I can't find the Local Security Policy in the usual place. I've searched all
around without success. Can someone tell me where it is found?

Thanks!

JW

RE: Where the heck is the Local Security Policy?

You mean you can't find the link to it? It should be in Administrative Tools
as usual unless you are running an edition where it is not available. You can
also launch it by clicking the start button and typing "secpol.msc" into the
search dialog.

Re: Where the heck is the Local Security Policy?

At the time I was running Home Edition Premium and didn't see it in the
Admin Tools. I booted into Ultimate and readily found it there.

Thanks,

JW

Re: Where the heck is the Local Security Policy?

That makes sense. Home Editions have those things removed. I don't know if
they are there and just hidden, or not there at all. I just installed Home
Premium yesterday for the first time and haven't had a chance to look yet.
