WinRAR NOT Installation

I have a problem. Windows Vista Buisness thinks that the WinRAR is an
installation. It won't let me start it by right-clicking it, and if I start
it from the Start Menu, it asks if I'm sure I want to run this program setup.
Its NOT the setup, but the program itself. Is there a way I can make it run
as a normal program? Thanks.

Re: WinRAR NOT Installation

What version of WinRAR do you have? I'm running 3.51 with no issues and it
had a great install.

Re: WinRAR NOT Installation

The latest one - 3.62. I tried re-installing it but it won't do anything.

Re: WinRAR NOT Installation

I'm seeing the same thing with 3.62, maybe its time to revert to an older
version!

Re: WinRAR NOT Installation

The new beta version (I think 7.0) is "vista compatible". You can download
that off the WinRAR website at www.rarlabs.com.

Re: WinRAR NOT Installation

I have WinRar versions 3.51 and 3.60 and have no problem with them working.
It seems folks are having issues with the newer builds, so perhaps see if
you can try an older version.
