Re: difference OneCare vs Defender?

Windows OneCare does not include an antispyware program,
so you should download and install Windows Defender.

No longer true, Carey.
Version 1.5 of OneCare disables Windows Defender as it includes the antispyware
capabilities within OneCare.

Re: difference OneCare vs Defender?

Along with that we no longer have access to the useful tools that were in
Defender. Why?

I believe that the OneCare team is currently evaluating when and how to expose
the useful Defender tools in the OneCare UI. In my opinion, that should have
been done before the merger of antispyware into OneCare.
