UAC won't turn off (but the check mark is gone)??

Hi all.
I have a clean install of Vista Business on my domain (the only one). I got
tired of the UAC messages all of the time so I unchecked it in [User
Accounts].
I still get the UAC messages. I then tried to turn it on and the ckeck mark
is gone from the box and it cannot be selected. I check it and click [OK]. Go
back in and it's not checked.

I can't get this turned off. Any ideas?

Thanks

Run msconfig, select Tools, select Disable UAC. Open Security Center, change
the way Security Center notifies me, to stop the warning messages that UAC
is turned off.
