AVG resident shield

have installed avg but keep geting resident shield is not installed can sm
1help me plase.

iam run in windows vista homepremium on a acer laptop

Make sure you have the latest version of AVG. I'm not sure if their free
version supports Vista yet. According to their website, Vista is
supported but I didn't dig deep for the details.

Avast! is a free antivirus that I think is much better than AVG and it
works fine in Vista. That's what I'm using.

You can download the newest version at http://free.grisoft.com . The newest
version does support Vista very well.
