System Restore Checkpoints Missing

I create a system restore checkpoints for the C: Drive if I am installin g
anything etc, The next day the all checkpoints are missing - does anyone know
why this is happening. It is very worrying.

Are you dual booting with Windows XP?

Do you use PerfectDisk and do a boot time defrag?
