Windows Vista Home Basic with Live One Care, why haven't I found any spyware yet, I use IE7 BTW????

I am using a brand new computer and IE7, w/Vista and Live One Care which I
am told has Windows Defender built into the program to check for spyware. I
haven't found nothing on my computer, not even a qaurantined file or
otherwise. Either is is blocking spyware, addware or others or my computer
is infested with those. I would think at least you could get a block list
somewhere with windows Live One Care and the spyware protection. I have been
told that IE7 has a great Spyware and Addware and Malware Blocking built in
but I dunno??????

I tried installing Tenebrils Ghost Surf Platinum which I have a
subscription for two years but it is apparentally not Windows Vista Compat.
even though when you go to there website it says windows 2000 or above......
When I tried to install it I didn't disable Live One Care because it's the
only virus protection that I have now that is Vista Compat. I had all kinda
problems and had to remove it. I know everyone is going to say Addware, and
other software that is free.... But the thing is I have commercial software
that should be working for me. I couldn't disable the Live One Care to
install Tenibril's Spycatcher because I would have turned off my Virus
protection Software that is Live One Care.... Any Idea's?????

I have only had Live One Care and this new computer with the new Vista for
about 2 weeks and am looking for any suggestions that might be of
assistance.... I don't know about running Adware or Spybot with Live One
Care. The thing is Live One Care is currentally the only Vista Compatible
Virus checking software that seems to work with Vista. I know Vista is new.

The Main thing is with Live One Care it says it is on and doesn't say it
has now or ever blocked any Addware/Spyware/Malware or anything EVER! I have
went to site's that I know install that stuff on your computer.... Could it
be that the Addware/Spyware and such is not Vista Compatible yet or what?
Any Ideas and help on this subject would be appreciated...........
