AVG

have installed avg but keep geting resident shield is not installed can sm
1help me plase.

iam run in windows vista homepremium on a acer laptop

try to do that but it will not have it any more idears people

What version?
Pay, free as well as build number.
Are you using the latest version of AVG, Version 7.5?
I assume you are using the RTM version of Vista and not one of the pre
release versions.

Try uninstalling and then reinstalling AVG.

I'm running AVG 7.5.4411 with no problems. Check you have the latest version.

I've got no problems running the free version, 7.5.446

I suspect you'll need to give more details to get more useful information.
