Smartcards - CSP and Vista

I'm looking for the CSP for Vista. Our Sicrpt or Axalto smartcards are
working (hardware), but I'm still missing the middleware (CSP). With 2003 or
XP our smartcards are working perfectly, because of the OS included CSP and
for 2000 there is a MS download.

any ideas?

Microsoft has defined a new CSP model - the so called Microsoft Base Smart
Card CSP working with dedicated card modules. This model will be part of
Windows Vista; for Windows XP Microsoft offers a download at
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/909520/en-us.

Thank you very much.

regards
Joerg

Re: Smartcards - CSP and Vista

You must contact Sicrypt and gemalto regarding support
on Vista for the previous smart cards. They would ahve
to provide you with a CSP to work with these cards (they
are ancient cards to be quite honest).

For the Base CSP, you will need cards that support the
base CSP model. This link provides contact information
for acquiring the Gemalto .NET cards.

You need to contact your card vendor for updated middleware that will work
with Vista.
