I'm gonna try leaving the domain, checking if it's available when I'm in a workgroup, then re-joining the domain, see what happens. P. | Guest | Re: Switch User Not Available in Ultimate After pressing WinKey+L to lock the workstation, select the "Switch User" button at the bottom. If this button is missing, it's most probably due to a Policy setting which turns off Fast User Switching. Follow the registry route indicated in the following article: http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/128/1/ Note that you'll need to delete the value named "HideFastUserSwitching" if it exists |

| Newbie Rep Power: 13 ![]() | I'm using Ultimate and switch user shows up My default install of the Vista 64 Ultimate has the user switch menu item on all the menu's both for shutdown and ctrl alt delete. I'm wondering if it was an install option ? |

Used gpedit.msc to set the HideFastUserSwitching option, then edited the registry to remove the key it created, and lo and behold, all my entry points are now available.
