Bitlocker and Complete PC Backup?

Are the backups secure when you use complete PC Backup?

The normal file backup allows you to target an encrypted volume for the
files, since it allows you to backup to a network location. However, the
Complete PC backup only detects usb external drives, and does not seem to see
viturally mounted encrypted volumes, such Truecrypt.

Thus my question, does the Complete PC backup keep the encryption if
Bitlocker is enabled?

No, and if you'd try it once you'd see that you're warned about this.

BitLocker is unique to your system. The whole idea of backup is to be able
to transfer all the data to a new system. Therefore, no, you can't backup up
the drive encrypted. Furthermore, BitLocker operates below the file system,
and backup operates above the file system, so the backup program can't even
see the BitLocker encrypted data.

Every respectable backup program supports an option to encrypt the backup
though.

Except for the one built into Vista.

I wasn't trying to imply that you were incorrect.
