Adobe Acrobat in Vista

Why is Adbe Acrobat7.05 Install something every time I open Windows Explorer
or Internet Explorer?
Very enoying, it takes about 1-2 minutes every time. Anyone please help.

Don't know - ask Adobe - nothing to do with Vista security.

Go download Acrobat 8. Maybe they fixed it?

Versions below 7.8 have a security hole according to Adobe who
recommend upgrading to AR8.

I like AR8 with a more compact layout of toolbars but you will want to
customize the toolbar to get showing some of the things you are used to
like Search and Go to Beginning/End of documents.

Watch for the addition of a Yahoo toolbar -- I prefer not to get it
installed. I think default is now OFF.

It installs it because Adobe's installer is incapable of installing
roll-ups. Therefore it can only install one patch at a time to get you to
7.08. Go to 8 instead. It works better.
