posts do not appear in vista general

Sorry for posting here but my posts to vista general just do not appear. I
have tried downloading headers, checking my posts. They appear in sent items
but do not appear in the newsgroup. Please give me a step by step guide on
how to resolve this issue

Re: posts do not appear in vista general

If you can post here, you can post there. Check your newsgroup settings and
try again.

Re: posts do not appear in vista general

I get the same problem, occasionally. If the post is important (in my case
it would be a reply to a post) I simply open the 'sent mail' folder, locate
the post I originally sent, copy the text into a new post and then re-send.

Re: posts do not appear in vista general

You may have left Read at its default to download 300 headers.
People are responding to trollbait in vista general - lots of posting.
If you want to see your stuff, you can adjust for that by increasing
the number. What I did was to make it infinite by unchecking it.

In WinMail Tools > Options > Read > News section
if you uncheck the box by "get (so many) headers at a time"
then you will get all of the messages. You'll need a fast connection
for that setting, because you'll get tens of thousands on the first go.
