Vista - Security and booting

Hello,

I just deployed my first Windows Vista computer and the user I deployed to
uses an external USB floppy drive and an external USB hard drive. This user
also uses a KVM switch and a USB printer. When the USB floppy drive and USB
hard drive are attached to the computer Windows Vista will not boot. When I
remove these devices Windows Vista boots fine. So, is there a security
setting in Windows Vista or maybe a setting in the BCD that is causing this?
Any help would be appreciated.

What error message are you getting? Are you sure the boot settings in the
BIOS still allow the internal hard disk to boot?

Thanks for the post. I went into BIOS and changed the boot sequence so that
the internal hard drive is first, the CD/DVD drive is second, the external
floppy third, and the USB device fourth. I attached the external devices and
rebooted. Windows Vista booted fine.
